Story Time Promoting Children's Mental Health and Well-Being
To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week (18th-24th May) three self published authors collaborated to run a competition to win three beautiful story books to promote children’s mental health and help children manage those tricky emotions.
I was absolutely delighted to be selected as the winner. Rather than waiting to read these wonderful books to our children when we return to school, I thought I would share the stories virtually. I think it is lovely for shared reading and reading for enjoyment as we are missing our story time at school.
I hope you all enjoy the three videos.
‘Lucy’s Blue Day’ by Chris Duke
‘Under the Mask’ by Emma Cahill
‘Freya’s Funny Feeling’ by Samia Quddus
Sit back, relax and enjoy.
